Calendar and Announcements
Services are held on erev Shabbat (Friday night) and on the evening prior to Yom Tov (festival) days at 7:30 pm, unless otherwise noted, and on Shabbat (Saturday) or holiday morning at 9:00 am. Please see our Services page for more information.
High Holiday tickets are now on sale at the synagogue on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 8:00-9:00 pm, and on Sunday morning from 10:00-11:00 am.
Selichot services will take place on Saturday night, September 5 at 9:00 pm. A collation will follow.
The schedule of services for the high holidays is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 11 - Rosh Hashanah evening - 6:45 pm
Saturday, Sept. 12 - Rosh Hashanah Day 1 - 9:00 am
Saturday, Sept. 12 - Rosh Hashanah Day 2 - 7:00 pm
Sunday, Sept. 13 - Rosh Hashanah Day 2 - 9:00 am
Friday evening and Shabbat morning of Shabbat Shuvah (Sept. 18-19) per usual schedule
Sunday, Sept. 20 - Kol Nidrei (YK eve) service - 6:45 pm
Monday, Sept. 21 - Yom Kippur - 9:00 am
We expect to recite Yizkor at approximately 11:15 am.
We will reconvene at 5:45 pm for Minchah and Ne'ilah.
On Friday evening, September 25, we will have our traditional Sukkot dinner after services. More information to follow in our weekly emails.
Aviv Hadash is conducting hybrid services (in-person, and broadcast via Zoom) at the usual times on the evenings prior and on the mornings of Shabbat and festivals. On Zoom, our services are intended for congregants and authorized guests only. You can log on by following the directions in our weekly emails.
Our adult education Bible class - currently studying the book of Samuel - meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm.
