Services are held on erev Shabbat (Friday night) and on the evening prior to Yom Tov (festival) days at 7:30 pm, unless otherwise noted, and on Shabbat (Saturday) or holiday morning at 9:00 am. Please see our Services page for more information.

The holiday of Shavuot will begin on Thursday night, May 21. At Aviv Hadash we will have services on both evenings (Thu. and Fri., May 21 and 22) at 7:30 pm, and on both mornings (Fri. and Sat., May 22 and 23) at 9:00 am.
Our communal dairy Shavuot dinner will take place on the second night of Shavuot, Friday May 22, after the conclusion of our Friday night/festival prayer service. The cost is $20 per person ($15 for those under age 13). RSVP to Kathie or Joyce by May 19, and please follow the directions in our weekly emails.
On the morning of the second day of Shavuot (Shabbat, May 23) we expect to recite the Yizkor memorial prayer at around 10:30 am. You can also click on the Yizkor Book to view or download it.
Aviv Hadash is conducting hybrid services (in-person, and broadcast via Zoom) at the usual times on the evenings prior and on the mornings of Shabbat and festivals. On Zoom, our services are intended for congregants and authorized guests only. You can log on by following the directions in our weekly emails.
Our adult education Bible class - studying the book of Samuel - meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm, although we won't be meeting on May 20.
